It’s that time of year when we like to incorporate some silly Christmas fun into our ministry gatherings! These three games were shared by Joe Hicks, coordinator for FUGE camps.
Name that Christmas Movie
Materials – Click here to download trivia questions.
Objective – Boys vs Girls, use the following questions to see who can come up with the most answers.
Five Trees
Materials – Each group is given 4 trees that are cut in different puzzle shapes (take image given, make 4 copies, and cut them in various ways). Click here to download tree file.
Objective – Divide groups into teams of 4-5 per group. Given the puzzle pieces make 5 different trees, all at the same time. Sounds easy, but it is not. The trick is to put the 4 trees in such a way that they make a 5th tree in the reverse image in the middle. After the groups have worked on this for a while you can give the following hint: “The 5th tree is the evidence of things not seen”.
Yarn Story // Favorite Christmas Memory
Materials – 5-7’ of Yarn per 5 people.
Objective – In a groups of 5, one person will take the 5-7’ piece of yarn and begin to wrap the yarn around their finger, as they do they will tell about their favorite Christmas memory. When they have finished wrapping the yarn around their finger, they can unwrap it and pass it to the next person who then tells their favorite Christmas memory.
