About Johnnie Moore

Johnnie Moore, author of the highly acclaimed Defying ISIS, is a speaker and a humanitarian who has been called one of the “world’s most influential young leaders” and “a modern day Dietrich Bonhoeffer.” His advocacy has provided tens-of-millions of dollars in emergency assistance to persecuted Christians, and in 2015 he helped lead the charge to get genocide resolutions against ISIS passed unanimously in both houses of the United States Congress and in the British and European Parliaments. He is a member of the White House Faith Advisory Council and is a recipient of the prestigious “medal of valor” from the Simon Wiesenthal Center. Moore is also a widely read opinion columnist having written for The Washington Post, Fox News, Relevant Magazine, and CNN. He is a visiting lecturer at the Liberty University Center for Apologetics and Cultural Engagement, a fellow of the Townsend Institute for Leadership and Counseling at Concordia University, and he is an international spokesperson for the Museum of the Bible. He serves on the boards of the National Association of Evangelicals, the World Evangelical Alliance, World Help, the Dream Center LA, the Anti-Defamation League of Los Angeles and My Faith Votes. He is the founder of The KAIROS Company.

Ben serves as the Director of Student Ministry for Lifeway Christian Resources and has served the local church as a student pastor for fourteen years. In addition to his role at Lifeway, Ben is involved in training, consulting, and speaking to student ministries throughout the U.S.

He is driven by a desire for student ministries to expand God’s Kingdom, to see the lives of students transformed by the gospel, and to produce students who shape the culture in which they live.

Ben and his wife Kristen have four young children. In his free time Ben enjoys family, fishing, hunting, and the St. Louis Cardinals.

John Paul serves as the Manager of Lifeway Student Ministry Publishing. He served in the local church for 10 years before coming on staff at Lifeway and has a deep passion for the work of the church and its mission to make disciples. Mary Margaret serves as the Girls Ministry Specialist for Lifeway Christian Resources in Nashville, Tennessee, and has a Master of Arts in Christian Education from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary.
