A few weeks ago, I shared with you how life-changing counseling has been for me. These are uncharted waters we are navigating, and it can feel heavy to shoulder the responsibility of suddenly shepherding your flock virtually.
Now—maybe more than ever—is the time to keep a close eye on your own mental health. Not only have you been asked to completely rethink ministry, but you’re likely also feeling the stressors of isolation, being cooped up with your family, and the anxiety of the unknown.
If you have a counselor, give him or her a call. If you need someone to talk to, please reach out to a professional. Many offer tele-health options or a way to meet virtually.
We’re all in this together.

P.S. Join me Monday for our very first YouTube LIVE at 12 pm central. I want to connect, hear how things have changed for you, hear what you need help with, and share some encouragement. I hope you’ll join me. If you subscribe to my channel, Student Ministry That Matters, you’ll get a notification when we go live.
