Does she have a Bible she can understand and use on her own? I love the CSB® Student Study Bible (the emerald green is my favorite!).

Teach her how to study.
Give her a clear path on studying the Bible on her own. Need an idea? Better than Life by Caroline Saunders has a Bible-reading recipe that makes it easy. You can also check out the Lifeway Girls digital catalog for a study.

Help her understand context.
Bible studies like Luke in the Land help teen girls understand historical context. Grasping the Bible’s original intent will help them better know God’s heart.

Get her connected with believers.
Small groups, large groups, and everything in between are essential to help teen girls grow in the truth of Scripture.

Model the truth.
Remember you set an example for how she can love God’s Word; the way you live reflects what you believe about Scripture.

Let her ask questions.
Wrestling with doubts and exploring the truth are not barriers to her faith, but rather God’s invitation to trust and know Him fully.

Point her to Scripture.
Find opportunities to text her and write her a note with a Bible verse, and memorize Scripture together. (Dwell on These Things is great for this!)

Don’t forget—it’s about her heart.
Help her read not to check off her “Christian girl to-do list”, but to know and love the God who is after her heart.
